Last weekend, Aeolus once again attended the Truck Grand Prix at the Nurburgring in Germany. Partly thanks to the fantastic weather, the Truck Grand Prix was a major success. This was the 28th edition of the festival, which has developed into the most important truck motor-sport event of the year. Besides the races, there was also space for companies to present themselves to the public, as well as various forms of evening entertainment, including a performance by Nena in front of over 40,000 people. This resulted in over 165,000 visitors during the course of the weekend, which makes this the biggest event in the FIA European Truck racing championship.

Heuver Tyrewholesale created a major buzz in 2012 by launching the Aeolus AE77 24R20.5-series for high-volume trailers in the agricultural and forestry market. However, by popular demand, Heuver will now be introducing this successful tyre in the 445/65R22.5-series at Agritechnica 2013. A special property of this on and off-road tyre is that it allows vehicles to drive up to 80 km/h, thus allowing them to access public roads and cover long distances on and off-road without encountering problems. This could be ideal for agricultural processors and transport companies.

This powerhouse has established a foothold in the replacement market and is often selected in the OEM market for use on new – possibly powered – agricultural vehicles and machines. The on and off-road-compatible AE77 is also very suitable for use in forestry and on heavy-duty fire brigade vehicles. The Aeolus AE77 is available in sizes 24R20.5 and 445/65R22.5; both are suitable for speeds up to 80 km/h. However, size 525/65R20.5 will also be available soon.
